Thinking Positively

Positive thinking

Do you have a bright idea chomping to get out and see what it will do? Sure you do. Every one does. Yes it is true that someone else may have that same idea. But what is under study here is what is it that motivates coming up with such ideas. Consider positive thinking as the motivator.

Correct and positive attitudes, thinking, will make things easier to do and even enjoyable in the doing, and that because that thinking was successful.

While working on separate R&D projects with the same goal a fellow engineer frequently, seemingly like once a week, would tell me that my efforts would fail. The results were that his failed and mine succeeded. The point is to not listen to negative thoughts unless they are based on solid substantial information. Then it is time to redirect efforts without losing the idea. Hang in there in other words until it succeeds or it is clear that it will fail.

An idea takes time to fully form and letting your thinking go can work while sitting doing "nothing." The mind and the brain are wonderful tools, so do not restrict them with no thinking or negative thinking.

Positive thinking is the American Way and it is what made our country prosperous.

Some tips may help.

1. Action towards living life by design can yield big results. But remember that talk is cheap. Action + positive thinking can produce a desirable future.

Tinkering in your mind, then with your hands, thinking and actions are required.

2. Commit to yourself, and to those you love to develop the life you can love. Rather than reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear.

The American Dream will always be there, but it is a dream until there is motion, action. You may be amazed at the transformation that takes place.

3. Accept and embrace the thought that each moment of your life is perfect. It is a one-time opportunity, the time forever lost. Yes it may fail, but that should be a time to learn so it does not happen again. Though failures are kept to a minimum they are not total losses for they are great real world learning experiences.

A task is not working out as wanted. Let positive thinking loose on the problem. And an idea will pop up which may seem wrong or extreme yet it is worth a try for the results could be the solution.

4. Turn from a poverty type of thinking to a place of gratitude. Learn to use what you have making use of it in constructive ways. Falling into a neediness way of thinking will become less of a habit by shift towards gratitude. Farmers have long engaged in this kind of action even to making new tools and improving old ones. It works.

5. Rather than a shoulda-woulda-coulda thinking ditch replace them with recognize-reevaluate-restore ways of thinking. The first focuses on scarcity and lack while the latter is based in knowledge and plenty to get he job done. Tasks can seem harder than climbing the tallest mountain yet when you allow yourself to realize that there is a workable solution, and learning it, you will be rewarded with accomplishment. A task is a task, is a task, is a task, and there are solutions.

6. Laugh at and with yourself when possible. You may find yourself entertaining when you loosen up! Have you ever seen a comedian ever go hungry even when his jokes are old? Not likely.

Life has much to offer so quit moping around in self-pity. Get some humor into your life. It can be life giving.

7. You are the designer of your life. You are in control of self. Your destiny is in your hands and no one can take it from you but you.

Develop your life in the real world, but let that world be creative making use of the positive thinking that it can be done.

For as long as you live, there is no end to how much you can accomplish in that lifetime. The idea of positive thinking will lead to everything flowing into place, and accomplishment will be the reward.

8. Be a thinker, a positive thinker. If needed read As A Man Thinketh by James Allen. It is much read by successful people, and it can improve your thinking. The book is free on the Internet.

Conclusions

It's interesting how people come to a standstill by something trivial. Even using a computer can overwhelm those who do not realize that it is merely another tool to learn and use. If kids can use a computer so can you. And it is that way with every tool. Take the first step with a positive attitude and positive thinking.

Thank you Abhinaya for your comment. I have always thought that it all starts in the mind, thus good thinking, and positive thinking are important.

I see myself as a positive person and I try to look at all the adversities in life with an optimistic approach. Nevertheless it´s important to be reminded now and then ;)

So much of the character, thinking, spirit, and attitude -- the very fibers that made America -- are being attacked from every angle and agenda. America is in danger of loosing her soul -- and it is a good soul!

Thank you Mike, I agree with what you say. The country hasbecome generally and specifically negative about a lot of things.
